Records to launch his new single, “When I Rise.” Harrisburg, PA born Jay L is by no means new to the entertainment scene. As a teenager he sharpened his skills by earning props from local talent shows, and city showcases. Jay L’s big break came when he won 1st place at the world famous “Apollo”. Jay L’s talent was already in evidence by his first appearance at the world famous “Apollo” in 1994. That earned him a showcase with Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Babyface. Jay L has also graced the stage with some of the best R&B and Rap artists in the industry, including Master P, David Banner, Public Announcement, City High and Case. Previous signage under J-Pat Management allowed him to showcase for other great artists, such as, Usher. A huge favorite with the ladies, Jay L knows how to captivate his crowd and hold them hostage. This was evident at his two extraordinary performances at the famous Apollo Theater in New York where he won over tough Amateur Night audience with his melodic, sensual vocals. As his song, “She’s Wanting More” suggests, his performances always leave his audience wanting more. Jay L’s gifts are evident in more than just his music. This multitalented artist has appeared in such movies as “Any Given Sunday”, with Jamie Fox, Al Pacino, Dennis Quade and LL Cool J and “Random Hearts” with Harrison Ford. His video appearances include, “Heartbreak Hotel”, with such legendary divas as Whitney Houston, Kelly Price and Faith Evans. He’s further pursued his acting career by appearing in the play, “Cousin Earl” with Charles Smith. Jay L has also performed in TV shows, including, Word of Mouth and The Cutting Edge. Along with “When I Rise”, his other single, “Catching of an Eye” will also be hitting Walden Books and Borders bookstores in January 2007 as a compliment to the new book, “Catching of an Eye” by Kimberly Gonzalez. Dub-Ace’s Bio 

One of Tennessee’s most prolific and fastest growing mixtape assassins Dub-Ace tha “Ace of Spade" better known as the Black Jack Dealer, has been causing a lot of ruckus in the streets of Houston, Texas. The multi- talented 22-year-old Wallace B. Holst Jr. will take not only his region but the nation by storm on the debut release of his new mixtape album, called the Black Jack Dealer

      Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in small town called Dyersburg, Tennessee, Dub-Ace grew up in a typical hood upbringing with both positive and negative influences. “My mother worked three jobs to make ends meet to feed my brother, sister and I.  In my period of growing up, I witnessed lots of violence first hand. With my father being deceased at an early age, lead me to different types of mischief. The hustlers in my neighborhood were whom I considered to be my role models, but my mother always did her part to keep us grounded in church. Once she saw the impact of my actions, she decided to move us from Tennessee to Houston, Texas.”  

      The summer of 1999 Dub-Ace started his new life in Houston, Texas. There he met three other guys who went to his neighborhood high school, which he hooked up with and they started a music group called D.C. (Deadly Combination). It consisted of Dub-Ace, Young Ghost, Holly Hood and Trust. While performing in local talent shows and producing several mixtape’s the group start to make a huge buzz throughout the school.  Through much adversity and trials the group soon deterred from its original plan from making it as a group individuals started to develop there own ambition in a solo manner which brought about the emancipation of Dub-Ace.  The separation brought about a series of events and corner stoned the birth of Southern Mathmatics Entertainment in which the profound Tennessee born and raised artist is the founder and C.E.O.   

      Through the growth period and developing process as a man and as an artist Dub-Ace has had plenty of outside influences that has contributed to his current state as an artist such as Playa Fly, Three 6 Mafia, 8Ball & MJG, UGK, Outkast, Dungeon Family, T.I., Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Young Buck, The Notorious B.I.G, and Tupac Shakur. Now through homing his skills and maturity Dub-Ace is a force to be reckoned with in just about any arena including lyrically, physically, mentally, spiritually, and ready for any obstacle business wise.
