It was once said, “A woman’s place is in the home.” Needless to say, those days have come to pass. Women are stepping up and out, making their mark in today’s world. This article is dedicated to ALL the outstanding females whom have decided to step out of their shell and achieve their goals. There are many women who have opened their own business and are very successful. We as women have to learn that what others say about “US” is irrelevant. There will always be haters and doubters trying to pull you down. I find that many men get intimidated by a strong, independent woman especially if they don’t have themselves together. Men often want to assume that women doing well must be “sleeping their way to the top.”  There are plenty women who use their brain to get where they need to be in life. You are only as good as the people you hang around with!
If you hang with a certain type of people that want nothing out of life, then you will never want more for yourself. If you hang with people that have goals, then you too will begin to see the doors open before you as to where you need to be. Ladies, never let anyone detour you from what you want to do. Don’t allow yourself to fall victim to the mental abuse of some low life that can’t accept the fact that you have “GOALS.” 

 Ladies, it takes: motivation, determination, focus, and a go getter attitude. You have to want better to achieve. We cannot control the evil tongues of others; but a good life enables us to disregard them. Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome. Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
